Get Informed! --Mike Huckabee

Hey everyone! Sorry it has been a while since the post but you understand with Christmas and everything. I am sure Rachael will be posting some Christmas pictures soon and I am working on some videos.

I wanted to encourage all of you to begin following the campaign for a new president. Our nation is struggling and all the righteous have to do to allow evil to reign in our nation is nothing. We must be informed and take action! We need every believer in America to vote in the upcoming elections!

One candidate that I have been thoroughly impressed with is Mike Huckabee. He is an ordained minister of the gospel and the odds have been against him all the way. I can see God's working through him. I want to encourage you to research Governor Huckabee and keep him in your prayers. You can learn more by going to meet the candidates at You Tube or by visiting his website: http://www.mikehuckabee.com/. His information and blog is on this site.

If you wish to support his campaign please visit https://www.mikehuckabee.com/?FuseAction=Contribute.Home&r=3164. We have a goal to raise at least $100 for Mike’s campaign.

Remember to pray for our nation and its leaders!

2 Chronicles 7:14"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

Hi Brandon and Rachael!
I read your blog, and enjoy keeping up with you guys! Elizabeth is getting so big! Thank you, for being concerned with the upcoming election. This is my first to vote for president, and I want to do it right! When I saw your post on Huckabee, I decided to do some research of my own, this is what I found, and I hope you don’t mind me sharing it. Huckabee sounded very good. I have been on his official website and have read his views on everything from abortion to health care. All of his views line up with Christian thinking and Conservatism, but will he actually do them? If you look at his record while he was governor of Arkansas his actions concerning immigration and taxes are quite different than what he wrote he believes in on his website. He's says he is not for big government or high taxes, but he raised taxes while he was governor of Arkansas. Another thing, his stance on immigration. His official website says, he is 100% against amnesty and giving privileges to illegals. Again his record shows otherwise. He gave special privileges to children of illegals, saying "they should not be punished for the parents actions." He gave them the choice of choosing between free tuition in Arkansas or to go back to Mexico for school. If Huckabee changes what he believes in so readily, what other important beliefs could he change if he becomes president?
On another note, have you heard anything about Fred Thompson. Everything that I have seen or heard from or about him is excellent. Below is a link to a video of his:

It is a little long, but very good. He has a clean record, and has not wavered or changed his beliefs to fit the Conservative ticket. He is a wonderful speaker and reminds me of what Reagan was like. Sorry, that this comment is so long. Here is another link to a article on World Net Daily about Huckabee. I think it sums him up pretty well:

Happy New Year and God bless,
